As Head of Marsh Advisory, Paul Johnson oversees the strategy and operations of the Marsh Advisory division across the Pacific region, leadings teams of professionals who provide a range of risk consulting and advisory services to clients, both corporate and public sector. He is also a member of the Marsh Pacific Executive Committee and Chairman of the Risk and Compliance Committee.

Paul’s extensive expertise and knowledge of risk management across Asia and the Pacific ensures Marsh Advisory’s consultants are well-positioned to support clients in navigating risk in a complex and ever-changing environment. Under his leadership, Marsh Advisory has continued to grow and become a trusted advisor for some of Australia and New Zealand’s largest organisations.

With expertise in business interruption Paul has been involved in advising major initiatives for within retail, power and energy, oil and gas, high tech and mining in Australia, New Zealand, China, Thailand, Taiwan, China and Japan.

Prior to joining Marsh, Paul lead Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) Consulting, and was the Managing Director for the Global Risk Consulting division of Aon in APAC. Paul is a qualified chartered accountant where he worked at Deloitte for 19 years, of which he was a partner for the last 9 years of this period. It was during his time at Deloitte that he gained expertise in auditing and forensic accounting.

Paul lives and works in Sydney, Gadigal land.
