As the Head of Marsh's Corporate and Commercial Pacific business and a member of the Marsh Pacific Executive Committee, JD Veldsman leads a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering best-in-class service and expertise to businesses of all sizes across the region.

JD is passionate about finding ways to support Marsh’s clients to better mitigate and manage risks, whether it’s through providing data-driven insights, innovative advice and solutions, or productivity enhancements.

JD has more than 20 years’ experience in leadership roles across the broad range of financial services. His previous roles include Head of Growth and Digital for Marsh Pacific, National General Manager for Jardine Lloyd Thompson’s Specialty division, and Global and Corporate Client Director for Aon.  JD holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Law, as well as ANZIIF’s ASIC RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking compliance.

JD lives and works in Sydney, Gadigal land.
