As Head of Risk Management for the Pacific, Damian Schinck is at the helm of Marsh's Risk Management division in Australia, driving the strategic vision and leading diverse teams to provide comprehensive risk insights, claims expertise, and innovative insurance risk management solutions to the country's largest corporations. Damian also holds a position on the Marsh Pacific Executive Committee.

Demonstrating exceptional leadership, Damian has played a pivotal role in setting up Marsh's Risk Management division for success, ensuring our teams are not only well-equipped but also motivated to lead with confidence and deliver excellence to our clients. His contribution has been key to shaping the future of risk transfer and management solutions for clients, while elevating client service standards across Australia's corporate landscape.

Collectively, Damian brings more than two decades of experience to the table, and having worked with some of Australia’s largest corporate and most complex clients means that he has a deep knowledge of insurance and the risk solutions sector.

Damian transitioned to Marsh in 2019, following Marsh's acquisition of Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT). During his tenure at JLT, Damian served as the CEO of the JLT Specialty business and, prior to this, as Managing Director of JLT's Corporate Risk division. Damian has also held a number of senior roles with Aon Risk Solutions.

Damian lives and works in Melbourne, Wurundjeri Land.
