Meet Isabella

I recently joined the Marsh Canadian Cyber Practice as an advisor. Previously, I was an associate client executive with the Corporate team, where I helped manage a diverse book of clients, ranging from technology companies to food manufacturing and anything in between. I specialized in providing advice to my clients and colleagues on cyber and technology risks, which has been a passion of mine for several years.

How does a hybrid work environment support you in doing your work?

Being in a hybrid work environment allows me to better connect and collaborate with my colleagues. The moment of meeting someone in person that you have spoken to many times virtually is one of the most exciting feelings.

As the Marsh Canada PRIDE colleague resource group (CRG) co-chair, it has also empowered me to break physical barriers and open meaningful discussions even beyond a national level by leveraging our international network for our virtual events.

What excites you about working at Marsh?

Marsh gives me the opportunity to work on many of my interests. As part of the LGBTQ+ community, I feel enabled to foster and empower members of my community in the insurance industry by being the co-chair of the PRIDE CRG.

I have also always been familiar with technology (building layouts for websites and fixing computers since I was a kid), and being part of the Cyber practice feels like a dream come true. It has created the possibility of joining a passion of mine with my career of choice.

Finally, I am grateful for the opportunities to speak the many different languages I know, making it possible to bond with Marsh colleagues internationally and provide tailored customer service to my multinational clients.
