We were very proud and happy to be part of the initiative led by National University Health System (NUHS) to support the well-being of employees by sponsoring 20,000 bottles of hand wash as a token of our appreciation for NUHS staff and front-liners in this challenging time.
Despite concerns over Covid-19, Iris Teo, CEO of Marsh Singapore and volunteers from MarshCares spent the day on 11 June to help with distributing the hand wash at the Kent Ridge and Alexandra campuses.
Wong Soo Min, Group CFO of NUHS, shared her appreciation:
“A big thank you to Marsh, especially Iris and Jessie for the nice and thoughtful gift! Hand hygiene is definitely the way to go in our combined efforts to fight the coronavirus.
You and the supporting teams have achieved a feat in delivering to all our campuses and sites, as well as to reach out to every NUHS staff. We appreciate it!”
Iris reflected that it was a meaningful afternoon with the NUHS team and she was grateful for the opportunity for Marsh to do our bit. She added:
“Covid-19 has affected so many lives globally and healthcare workers play a major and indispensable role in this crisis. We have worked with NUHS for many years and were honored to have the opportunity to support healthcare workers through NUHS to help protect them and their families.”
