HyungKoo (Hank) Lee
Chief Executive Officer, Marsh Korea, Inc.
Appointed as of 1 April 2018, HyungKoo (Hank) Lee is CEO of Marsh Korea Inc. He joined Marsh in 1992 and worked in the development of Korean indigenous business. He was elected a Vice President in 1998 and became a Senior Vice President the following year. He transferred to the Marsh Head Office in New York in 1999 to work on Alternative Risk Finance department. After the one year assignment in New York, Hank returned to Korea and was responsible for leading Korean Business.
In 2002, he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Marsh Korea, Inc. and has overall management responsibilities for Marsh Korea. He was appointed as Managing Director of Marsh Inc. in November 2003.
Prior to joining Marsh Korea, he started his career as a Quality Assurance Engineer with Poongsan Metal Corporation in Ulsan, Korea in 1984.
He graduated from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management with an M.B.A. in 1992 and Korea University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering in 1984 and YongSan High School in 1980.
