2. Specified Dispute Resolution Organization Contracted with Marsh Broker Japan

Marsh Broker Japan has entered into a Master Procedural Agreement with the Insurance Ombudsman Association, a specified dispute resolution Organization stipulated by law. If you are unable to resolve a dispute with Marsh Broker Japan, you can petition for resolution with the Association. 3. Insurance Ombudsman

The Insurance Ombudsman Association is a specialized organization established to fairly, neutrally, easily, and quickly resolve complaints relating to insurance business and problems between customers and insurance businesses.

The Association seeks suitable resolutions by making requests to businesses regarding the complaints it receives in accordance with the law. If the problem cannot be resolved by the parties, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is conducted by a consumer consultant or legal expert.

The scope of complaints and problems handled by an insurance ombudsman is limited to those issues regarding the business of companies that have entered into agreements with the insurance ombudsman. Currently, the main businesses that have entered into agreement with insurance an ombudsman are foreign-affiliated non-life insurance companies and insurance brokerages.
