Marsh wins European Risk Management Award for its ESG Risk Rating

Marsh is honoured to have won the Systemic Risk Solution of the Year Award for its ESG Risk Rating at this year’s European Risk Management Awards, organised by FERMA (the Federation of European Risk Management Associations) and Commercial Risk Europe magazine.

The 2022 European Risk Management Awards reward best practice and innovation among risk managers. The Systemic Risk Solution of the Year Award recognises the innovation displayed by risk and insurance managers in achieving excellence to meet the challenges of managing systemic risks through advanced risk initiatives.

Marsh’s ESG Risk Rating is a free assessment tool that helps measure environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance against internationally recognised standards and frameworks across 18 major ESG themes.

The tool supports organisations and risk managers as they can use the results to manage ESG risks and opportunities by identifying, prioritising, and integrating them into risk management planning and communicate with both internal stakeholders and evidence ESG compliance to insurers to gain differentiated insurance outcomes. Organisations can also retake the assessment, as they make changes to and update their business processes.
